Painting Hallways

Beautiful Hallway Painting, Prince George, BC Canada

Here are some examples of hallways I've  painted.

prince george painting of a hallway with wainscot

Hallways have great lines and detail, they take a lot of traffic so its wise to use good paint.

This hallway above has wainscot and crown mouldings. Because of this, I was particularly fussy when it came to the prep and creating lines between the walls and ceiling.

I put detail into caulking all your trim and baseboards so the wall colour not only looks awesome beside your trim but so the trim looks well made and remains sealed long after.

High quality caulking,  preparation, durable paint and steady hand makes everything look so much better.

Good painters make some of the worst drywall and carpentry look great . When I paint for you, walking through them all the time will remind you of why you hired me.

Above is an excellent example of a hallway done well.

Hallway's take more time to paint because they usually have more detail and considerations.

Examples of what may need to be painted:

  • ceiling
  • crown
  • door trim
  • doors
  • baseboards
  • wainscoting or beadboard

Depending on the kind of traffic, (commercial, residential, wide or narrow) the hallways may require a specific paint sheen's:

Sheen Example:

  • flat paint for ceilings
  • satin finish for trim and doors
  • matte(flat) or eggshell for walls
