How to label doors

Here's a clear method to label your cabinet doors and drawers for easy reassembly:

  1. Label Upper Cabinets:
    • Use a sharpie to write a number under one hinge of each upper cabinet door.
    • Example: Label them sequentially from left to right: 1, 2, 3, and so on.
  2. Label Lower Cabinets:
    • Use letters to differentiate lower cabinet doors from the upper ones.
    • Example: Label them from left to right: A, B, C, etc.
  3. Label Drawers:
    • Similarly, write numbers under one hinge or inside each drawer.
    • Example: Label them from left to right: 1, 2, 3, etc.

This labelling system will ensure that each door and drawer goes back to its original location, saving you time and effort on re-adjustments.

Good luck with your project!
