Matte and eggshell finishes are ideal for bedrooms.

• In bedrooms and other areas where calm moods are desired, where darker colours are also used, a matte finish tends to be a better choice because of how it absorbs light.
• Eggshell tends to be a better choice for lighter colours and higher traffic.
